The Big Fat Turkey is a spin off from a familiar poem. I have researched the author of the original, but have not been able to find it. Some have turned it into a song. You might say it has become a bit of child folklore. I have added simple actions to the lines--just to make it fun to recite. However, you may want to change all of that to suit your students' needs. They may also enjoy the coloring page included.
